Shipping and Return Policy from Jenny's Sewing Studio
Jenny's Sewing Studio ships to all 50 States and APO/FPO addresses. Orders
originating from U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses will be shipped by U.S.
Mail or UPS. If you are outside the Contiguous USA your orders will be charges
freight and will be sent USPS air parcel postage.
Most orders are shipped within 2-3 business days unless the item is on
backorder. We will email you if the item has been delayed. Please allow 7-12
days for ground shipments to arrive. On orders to Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO
addresses, delivery may take an additional 7-14 days. NO free shipping on
expedited orders. These orders will be subject to shipping charges as they
apply. In the event that we cannot ship your complete order, we will notify you
via e-mail.
Orders are shipped via US Mail, UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day
Air. *Orders placed via UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air must be placed by 12:00
pm EST.
Some items are shipped directly from the vendor/manufacturer to you. These
items may arrive in a 2nd shipment. We will mail you a receipt of purchase in a
separate envelop from our Salisbury, MD warehouse and office.
*Orders placed via Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air must be placed by 12:00 pm
EST. If it is after 10:00 am on a Friday please consider the order will not be
shipped until the following Monday. All special order items like sewing baskets,
caddies, sewing machines, and hoop it all's are shipped from the manufactures'
warehouse. No returns on these items*
Jenny's Sewing Studio values all our
customers and want you to be satisfied with all purchases made. We have made
every attempt to picture all items accurately. If you have a question about an
item, please call us before you order and we will be glad to explain any product
to you. We stand behind all our products as first quality unless indicated as
used or factory refurbished.
30 day return policy on all
non-special order items
If for some reason you are not satisfied with
your purchase send us an
email to jenny@jennys-sewing-studio.com
with your name, address, phone and email along with a description of the product
and the reason it is unsatisfactory. If a return is approved, shipping is not refundable and
items purchased with free freight with be charged the actual shipping when
the store merchandise credit is applied. If products are returned without an RA
they will be refused and returned to you. The customer will be responsible for
all shipping fees that apply. We reserve all rights for replacement of any
product with the manufacturer. Products can be exchanged with product of equal
or greater value up to 30 days of purchase minus shipping charges if they are
not on our special order list.
We do not issue cash or credit refunds on most
products, only store credits (website)! There are no cash or credit card
refunds. We will exchange any item as long as it is not a closeout or sale
item, is in the original carton and in original condition. Exchanges must have a
return authorization. Please call 1-800-707-6007 or 410-543-1212 and talk to
Jenny if you have a problem. There are no returns on fabric,
special orders items, sewing baskets, caddies, hoop-it-all products, sewing
cabinets, sewing chairs, cabinet inserts, sew steady tables, computer programs,
embroidery disc packs, books, patterns or printed
materials. Any returns need to have all bonuses, premiums, instruction
books and parts returned in the original condition or the customer will be
charged full retail for missing or damaged items.
Once you place your order and we
process it, we will determine if any other shipping venue is more appropriate
for your item and apply those charges, especially when tracking expensive
merchandise, since we are responsible for the delivery. Please note that many
items are drop shipped from the manufacture and we use their shipping method. Please
note: If the UPS shipment shows external
damage please refuse it. IT was shipped in first class condition and this is the
only way that we can make claim with UPS. If you refuse a UPS shipment
and it was not damaged you will be charged
for shipping of the product both ways. On some products, a restocking fee will
apply. This will be indicated on the product page. A refund or store credit will
be issued for the difference.

International Shipping Rates &
Information
All packages are shipped via US Postal Service, Air Mail. ACTUAL shipping rates
will be charged. Actual rates are based on the weight and/or size of the
package. You will NOT see the shipping rates as you are checking out on our site
since all shipping is based on US postal rates. To calculate the rates go to
USPS.com. The rate is determined when the package ships. Some countries have a
size restriction, please be aware of your counties limitations before ordering. There
are no returns or refunds for out of country deliveries. We will send you a
shipping confirmation from the US post office. Jenny's Sewing Studio is not
responsible for delivery outside the USA.
International and USA credit card are
all verified. Please allow up to 72 hours for international verification and use
the same address in your order as you have your credit issued with for
verification.
Note:
Unless otherwise noted, sewing machines and vacuums are not intended for
commercial use. Any commercial use of a home sewing machine or vacuum
constitutes abuse of the product and will void all warranties, including the
30-Day Return Policy.
There are no returns on any item purchased
from Jenny's Sewing Studio if purchased outside the contiguous USA.
There are no returns on damaged products.
If a refund is approved, there will be a 20%
restocking fee. No postage or shipping will be refunded.
Credits are good for one year from date of
issue! Any credit over one year will be forfeit.
Please note that by ordering from Jenny's
Sewing Studio you are indicating you have read our return and shipping policy.
We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time without notice.
Warranties and repairs
All products that need warranty service
should be sent to the warranty service center as outlined in the instruction
manual. Jenny's Sewing Studio is no longer a SINGER service center.
